Ready to learn the next round of skills for working in copper foil stained glass? Students will build a round glass panel and also learn more about working with trickier glasses and difficult cuts, additional tools to facilitate the stained glass process, adding details using wire and solder, reinforcing panels, as well as sizing panels for doors, windows and cabinet doors. Students are responsible for purchase of glass and metal framing for the round project (approx. $10-$35).

Learn your basic stained glass skills to make a beautiful narrow glass art piece. Learn to embellish with wire and solder details, glass and stone bits, and even glass plating! These would be great for windows or for wall hangings, and they’re a fantastic way to use up scraps. We will complete one art strip in class. All tools and materials are provided. Students may bring glass or other natural elements from home to incorporate into their strips.

Take your stained glass to the next level! Learn to add decorative soldering touches to add texture and detail to dress up even the simplest panels. Glass for the panel needs to be cut and ground prior to class time. See Coral for pattern and glass selection. Prior soldering experience is required.
